June 27, 2022 -- Edward O. Wilson Tribute

We're celebrating the life and writing of the great biologist and naturalist, Edward O. Wilson, who died last December. Sometimes called the father of biodiversity, he wrote on many topics, including his scientific work (the study of ants), aspects of conservation and sociobiology, and where humans fit in the big picture. So we'll each choose a book or two to read and talk about. These could include Tales from the Ant World, Naturalist, or The Meaning of Human Existence, or any other! Or you could read something new about ants, such as Empire of the Ants: The Hidden Worlds and Extraordinary Lives of Earth's Tiny Conquerors, by Susan Foitzik.
