Beaver are my favorite of all animals. If I had my choice, I would prefer to live in a land developed by beaver instead of humans. They have taken over my property in WV and built several dams and four new ponds. Despite the damage to trees, I love what they are doing. Creating habitat for declining amphibians and insects which are food for birds. What's not to like? The trouble with beaver comes from our side, not theirs. We think all water front property is for us, and leave none of it for them. I have read Eager and would enjoy reading it again. I hope you all select it. Ken
