Tue, Jan 25, 2011 - Searching for Yellowstone: Ecology and Wonder in the Last Wilderness by Paul Schullery
This message from Cecily: A good accompaniment to this book is Schullery's MOUNTAIN TIME: A YELLOWSTONE MEMOIR. More personal in nature, this tells of his becoming a ranger, has chapters on the various large mammals and the amazing geology, and reports on the weird and/or dangerous things tourists do. Most important, the whole book is a plea for the "existence value" of Yellowstone NP and other unique ecosystems.
