Tuesday, September 23, 2008 - Killing Mister Watson by Peter Matthiessen
Alternatively, read part I of Shadow Country, a revised and condensed version of the trilogy, reviewed in Orion
Info provided by K.M.: The book is available on tape from Recorded Books, new in paperback, and used hardbound and paperback. Matthiessen has rewritten the entire Watson trilogy and published it in one volume titled Shadow Country: A New Rendering of the Watson Legend; Killing Mister Watson has been "rendered" as "Book 1" of Shadow Country; you may choose to read this version rather than the original.
just re-read this whilst on holiday. Fantastic book as are all 3 in the trilogy. Interesting blog. I'll definetly keep an eye on what you post on here. Thanks, Philip.
